Event Date: April 22 @ 7:30 am – 8:30 am EDT, Free – $20

Join Green Building Alliance as we welcome the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, shortly after sunrise. Together, we’ll greet the day with hope: hope for progress; hope for our future; and hope for the healing of humans and the environment.

GBA’s executive director, Jenna Cramer, will open with some of her thoughts and a few guest speakers will share their hopes and insights as well. We’ll end with any reflections you would like to share, and we will recommend ideas for special things you can do from home throughout the day to celebrate.

Parents, feel free to have your children join you. They can practice their sun salutations!

Grab your coffee or tea and “meet” us wherever you can catch a glimpse of the morning sun – on your porch, by a window, or any cozy spot. When this event is over, we hope you’ll be inspired and energized to take on this special day in a meaningful way.

This virtual gathering is free to attend, but we appreciate anyone who is able to donate a suggested contribution of $20, which Green Building Alliance will share with another local environmental or community organization.

At Green Building Alliance, we envision a place where every building and community is sustainable so every person can thrive. Thank you for all you do to make that vision a reality.

Anyone who registers for this event will receive an email prior to the event with a Zoom link to participate in the virtual meet-up.
